As a separate community within its boundaries, you'll enjoy a multitude
of recreational activities woven among buildings perched on dunes overlooking
the Atlantic Ocean.
The 200 unit building is about 300 feet from the beach. Each individually
owned condominium offers amenities including central heat and air, dishwasher,
washer and dryer, carpet, fireplace, color CATVs, microwaves, phones, park
grills and outside shower by the pool. Barrier Island vacations also include
a tremendous outdoor pool, children's playground and tennis courts. There
is an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna awaiting you year round.
Private decks invite sunbathers to relax and enjoy these wonderful surroundings.
Walkways to the beach with enchanting gazebos and benches add to overall
appeal of the area. Across the street on the sound is the Barrier Island
Inn Restaurant, convenient for lunch and dinner. A boat dock extends from
the restaurant out into the sound. There are sailboats, windsurfing, jet
skis and other activities available at hourly rates along with instruction
if desired. For an action packed vacation, Barrier Island Station offers
